Welcome!
Class Act Disc Jockeys is serious about
providing its' customers a quality service and realizes that this can not
be attained without cooperation between the
entertainer and the facility.
While Class Act Disc Jockeys is hired to
entertain guests at an event, Class Act Disc Jockeys also realizes that it
is in fact also a guest of the facility. Therefore Class Act Disc Jockeys
wishes to establish communication with the facility before the event, to
learn what is expected by you, and inform you of what you can expect,
while Class Act Disc Jockeys is on your premises.
The following summarizes what you can
expect when Class Act Disc Jockeys performs at your facility:
-
Class Act Disc Jockeys performance
incorporates a substantial set-up of lighting and sound equipment.
Therefore a minimum of one, to one and one-half hours unobstructed
load-in/set-up time is required to start the performance at the
customers requested time. Other minimum set-up requirements include: a
rectangular area 18 feet wide by 6 feet deep with a ceiling clearance of
8 feet, a source of 110 volt power on two separate circuits. Class Act
Disc Jockeys unit is otherwise self-supporting and use of facility
tables, carts, etc. should not be necessary.
-
While loading our equipment in and out
of your facility, we will attempt to keep the amount of time the doors
are kept open to a minimum to assure climate control is maintained.
-
Class Act Disc Jockeys will perform
during the contracted hours and will not perform past the specified stop
time without prior arrangement with management personnel. Class Act
Disc Jockeys requires one hour after the stop time to disassemble and
load out its' equipment although this is typically completed in 30-45
minutes.
-
Class Act Disc Jockeys does not condone
any violations of the law or other conditions which may pose a threat
of: damage to or destruction of property, bodily harm or death. If such
conditions arise, Class Act Disc Jockeys shall cease the song or
performance until the threat subsides. Conditions which may result in a
cease of performance include: moshing or slam dancing, physically
fighting, disorderly conduct, severe weather, etc. Class Act Disc
Jockeys will not be held responsible for illegal conduct of any guests
other than its employees.
-
Class Act Disc Jockeys may incorporate
a non-toxic fog to accentuate its' lighting effects. This fog is
produced from a water-based fluid, and is non-irritating and non-toxic.
The fog can cause certain models of smoke detectors to activate, but
when used carefully, rarely does. Class Act Disc Jockeys has never
caused a smoke detector to activate through our use of fog. Material
Safety Data Sheets for the fog juice solution are available upon
request.
-
While at your facility, Class Act Disc
Jockeys will use the utmost care to not cause damage. If Class Act Disc
Jockeys knowingly causes damage, we will notify the contact person.
Also Class Act Disc Jockeys will leave its’ work area as clean as it was
found by not leaving refuse behind. We will avoid using tape which may
cause damage to carpet or flooring.
-
We will refrain from consuming alcohol
or using tobacco during our scheduled performance time.
-
If possible, it would aid us greatly if
we were able to have unblocked access to the nearest load in entrance to
the set-up area to enable us to backup our equipment trailer.
